With the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution this year, North Carolina residents can’t help but wonder: What happened here? Now’s the perfect time to immerse yourself in the rich history of Chatham County and the town of Pittsboro. The Chatham County Historical Association invites you to visit the museum, located in the iconic historic courthouse at the heart of Downtown Pittsboro.

Whether you’re a longtime resident or just passing through, the museum offers a unique opportunity to discover the stories, artifacts, and people that shaped Chatham County. Chatham County Historical Association volunteers provide information, insights, and guidance for museum visitors.
