Pittsboro Finally Fridays’ Arts Walk’s Downtown Mask Parade will transform the social district into an engaging procession of masks, costumes, and community spirit. Don’t miss this magical event — where pets and people become works of art in the heart of Pittsboro!

Event Details:

When: Friday, October 17 5-8 PM (Parade begins at 6)

Parade Route: Pittsboro Mayor Kyle Shipp leads the parade from Pittsboro’s Downtown Pop-Up Park (50 West Salisbury St.), through the Social District to the Havoc Patio where the Costume Contest and Award Ceremony will take place.

How to Participate: 

• Gather at the Pop-Up Park (50 West Salisbury St.) at 5 PM to sign up and marvel at the gathering of costumed pets and humans alike.
• At 6 PM follow Mayor Kyle Shipp through the Social District, cheered on by local businesses and community members.

Costume Contest & Prizes:

• Best Pet Costume
• Best Pet & Human Costume Combo
• Best Costume Overall (open to all participants)

Mayor Kyle Shipp will personally award trophies and other prizes for favorite costumes.
